Ceremonial version of the Royal Air Force Officer Sword with scabbard. Made according to the British MOD specification.
In November 2005, WKC has taken over the tools of Wilkinson Sword for production of various ceremonial swords
Blade:
Stainless steel blade. Forged, well-tempered, hand polished, hardness ca. 48-52 HCR Rockwell. Acid-etched with, so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimension of the blade is ca ca. 810 x 22 x 5 mm.
Guard:
Casted brass, hand-polished, gold-plated guard. Top nut re-chiseled and gold-plated.
Grip:
Real sharkskin-covered handle with goldplated wires.
Scabbard:
Real raw-hide leather scabbard, hand-sewn, with gold-plated fittings, 2 rings.
Included Accessories:
Protective cloth bag.
