The popular Dragon Katana was modified and is now the katana of the year 2016. In contrast to the original all fittings have a silver coating and the saya and the wooden box are decorated with silver dragon motives. The blade is made of 1045 carbon steel and folded twelve times. Even today the dragon plays a big part in Japan. The tsuba of this remarkable sword has the form of a dragon that surrounds the sword. The rest of the fittings feature this mythical creature as well.

- Shinogi zukuri style blade with fuller (Bo-Hi), hand forged from 1045 carbon steel and folded 12 times.
- Handle wrapping in black cotton using the classical hineri maki style.
- Black, high gloss lacquered sheath (kuroro style) made from wood with dragon motives.
- tang that is attached to the handle with two bamboo pins (mekugi). This means the whole sword can be diassembled.
- Collar (habaki) and washers (seppa) made of brass.
- The traditional handle wrapping has an underlay made of real ray skin.
- All fittings (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira) are made of metal.
- Includes a protective cover made of fabric and a beautiful wooden box that is decorated with dragon motives.
- Limited edition (100 swords) with sword number and collector certificat.
