British General Officers Scimitar of the Army and Royal Marines

Ceremonial version of the General Officers Scimitar of the Army and Royal Marines with scabbard. Made according to the British MOD specification.

In November 2005, WKC has taken over the tools of Wilkinson Sword for production of various ceremonial swords

Nato Stock No. for sword and scabbard: 8465-99-136-7276.

Blade:
Stainless steel blade. Forged, well-tempered, hand polished, hardness ca. 48-52 HCR Rockwell. Acid-etched with, so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimension of the blade is ca 800 mm x 26 x 6 mm.

Guard:
Casted brass, 24 carat-goldplated, hand polished.

Grip:
Ivory coloured-plastic, polished, includes hole for the sword knot.

Scabbard:
Stainless steel tube, hand-polished, with 2 rings.

Included Accessories:
Protective cloth bag.
