Ceremonial version of the British Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers sword (1897 pattern) sword and scabbard nfantry Pattern 1897 sword with scabbard. Made according to the British MOD specification. Delivered under government contract.

In November 2005, WKC has taken over the tools of Wilkinson Sword for production of various ceremonial swords.

Nickelplated Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-973-6853.
Leather Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-127-9993

Blade:
Nickel-plated carbon steel, well-tempered with ornamental etching, hand polished, hardness ca. 48-52° HCR Rockwell. Acid-etched with Infantry pattern so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.



Guard:
Pierced steel guard bearing the Royal cipher, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of brass, nickel plated.
Grip:
Original shark skin covered handle , wrapped with 3 silver wires.

Scabbard:
Steel tube, nickel-plated, hand-polished with 2 rings or real brown calf leather scabbard.

Included Accessories:
Protective cloth bag.
